Andy Pilsbury is an award-winning photographer with deep roots in the Midlands (UK). Combining an instinctive understanding of light and an eye for fine details his images and series have a luminous, observational quality. They reveal both the external iconographies and inner lives of his subjects, and the deep, often hidden, connections between them.

With a strong focus on subcultures, lost arts and the edge-lands of modern life, Andy’s immersive, collaborative approach enables him to dig deep and tell stories that matter. He has worked with subjects as diverse as Hells Angels and English cowboys, farmers and Elvis tribute artists, getting under the skin of contemporary life in the UK and beyond.

Andy brings this same attention to detail and passion for fresh, contemporary image making to his work with commercial clients. He has collaborated with artisans, design agencies, brands, non-profits and businesses from the UK to Kenya to communicate their message incisively and emotively through film and photography.
